However, this week, the Los Angeles Dodgers proved to be the exception to the rule. Facing the Arizona Diamondbacks, they made quick work of the team’s top three starting pitchers. In 14.1 innings of work during the recent three-game series at Dodger Stadium, Zac Gallen, Merrill Kelly, and Brandon Pfaadt allowed 29 hits, 18 earned runs, and 11 walks, while only recording eight strikeouts and posting a ghastly 11.30 ERA.
