Bengals Are Signing Former Falcons QB

Image
(Photo by Justin Aller /Getty Images)   The Cincinnati Bengals enter training camp with a clear objective after their disappointing 9-8 season that ended just outside playoff contention. Head coach Zac Taylor is banking on continuity and strategic additions to push his team back into the AFC’s upper echelon. The return of a healthy Joe Burrow provides the foundation for offensive success, but recent movement in the quarterback room has added an intriguing local connection. The Bengals are bringing in a familiar face to bolster their depth behind Burrow. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported the team’s latest quarterback addition: “Former Falcons starting QB Desmond Ridder is signing with the Bengals, per source. Some experienced competition behind Joe Burrow.” Former #Falcons starting QB Desmond Ridder is signing with the #Bengals , per source. Tyler Shough Reveals His Expectation For This Season

Image
(Photo by Stacy Revere/Getty Images)   The New Orleans Saints are transitioning into a new era. Derek Carr shockingly announced his retirement earlier in the offseason, and Kellen Moore will now take the reins after years of underperforming under Dennis Allen’s tutelage. That leaves the door wide open for Tyler Shough to take the reins of the offense right out of the gate. That’s why, when asked about his goals for his rookie season, the Louisville product opened up on having the same type of impact that Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix had last year (via Sleeper Saints): “My expectation is to go out there and play at the highest level I can. You saw it from Bo Nix and Daniels last year. Why not? Why not go out there with everything that’s been preparing me for this? I’m not going to go out there all scared and to make mistakes. There’s going to be some ups and downs, but I’m going to give everything I can to try and make the team better,” Shough said. Tyler Shough on his goal...

(Photo by Cooper Neill/Getty Images for Netflix)   The debate over the greatest NBA player of all time is one that can be dialed up at any time during the sports calendar and get fans going. Everyone in the sports world is expected to have an opinion on this topic, including boxing legend Mike Tyson, who recently stopped by Shaquille O’Neal’s podcast to share his take. During an episode of “The Big Podcast,” Tyson told O’Neal that he believes Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time. “I’m a Jordan guy,” Tyson said. LeBron James’ ascendance over the past two decades has made this a more hotly contested debate that spans generations, as younger fans are often on ...

Nick Wright Makes Surprising Prediction For Bears

Image
(Photo by Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images)   The Chicago Bears enter the 2025 NFL season with a completely different energy than the team that stumbled to a 5-12 record last year. The franchise responded to that disappointing finish by making significant moves, headlined by hiring Ben Johnson as head coach. Chicago upgraded its offensive line, assembled a revamped receiving corps, and watched its defense quietly gain momentum throughout the offseason. FOX Sports host Nick Wright has emerged as one of the most vocal supporters of the turnaround and recently surprised many with his latest prediction for the Bears. “I don’t know if the NFC North is quite as hard this next year as people think it will be. … I think they can win the division,” Wright said on “First Things First.” . @getnickwright says the Bears are the true No. 1 worst-to-first candidate: "The NFC North is not as hard this year. Ja’Marr Chase Creates His Perfect NFL Wide Receiver

Image
(Photo by Harry How/Getty Images)   Ja’Marr Chase might finally have claimed his spot at the top of the NFL wide receivers tier list. He led all pass-catchers in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns last season, and it wasn’t particularly close. That’s why, now that he’s become the highest-paid wide receiver the game has ever seen, he was asked to share his idea of the perfect wide receiver: “I would use Tyreek Hill’s speed,” Chase said . “I’d use Megatron’s strength. I’d use Jerry Rice’s routes. I’d use Antonio Brown’s hands.” That’s quite a group right there, and it’s hard to argue that it’s almost impossible to think of someone better. Then again, knowing how confident he is in his game, he might firmly believe that he could be better than even that juggernaut of a player he just put together. The Cincinnati Bengals are entering a crucial season, and head coach Zac Taylor could and should be on the hot seat after last year’s debacle. They’ve gotte...

Ashton Jeanty Names 3 RBs He Models His Game After

Image
(Photo by Candice Ward/Getty Images)   The Las Vegas Raiders went against the trend. Unlike most teams, they chose to take a running back early in the first round. However, Ashton Jeanty isn’t like most running backs. He stood out in a class that was absolutely stacked at the position and featured at least five potential day-one starters, and that’s a lot to say. Jeanty is a special talent, and he’s coming off one of the greatest seasons in college football history. Notably, a lot of that has to do with all the tape he’s watched to be like some of the greats. When asked about his inspirations and role models at the position, the Boise State product chose a combination of Marshawn Lynch , Christian McCaffrey , and Derrick Henry (via Raiders 1022): “Some players that I try to take things from their game—Marshawn Lynch, and his running style, being physical. Christian McCaffrey and the receiving game, running routes. Derrick Henry—I’m not as big, but that stiff arm. Had...
