Saquon Barkley Had A Message For Eagles Fans After Friday’s Win

Image
(Photo by Pedro Vilela/Getty Images)   The Philadelphia Eagles gave us an impressive glimpse of what their new offense could look like. Coordinator Kellen Moore brought some juice to the table with his constant motions, and quarterback Jalen Hurts looked significantly more comfortable despite multiple turnovers. The Eagles offense overcame a sloppy start to put up 34 points on the Green Bay Packers’ talented defense in a Week 1 victory. Though new Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley may have had a lot to work with, even the stoutest defenses in the NFL might have a lot of trouble against the Eagles. That’s particularly true if running back Saquon Barkley continues to play like he did in his Eagles debut. The former New York Giants star put on a show, rushing 24 times for 109 yards and two touchdowns, and adding two receptions for 23 yards and another score. Afterward, Barkley thanked the Eagles fans who traveled all the way to Brazil for the game and expressed how h...

Shaq Believes One NBA Team Will Have ‘Rough Start’ To Season

Image
(Photo by David Berding/Getty Images)   Shaquille O’Neal has studied the NBA a lot throughout his life and knows many things about how teams, players and coaches work. Because of that, he believes that the Los Angeles Lakers will have a “rough start” to the 2024-25 season. Speaking to “The Pat McAfee Show,” per ESPN, O’Neal said he doesn’t think some players on L.A.’s roster will “respect” new head coach JJ Redick. He believes LeBron James and Anthony Davis will attempt to keep everyone in line, but members of the team might not look up to Redick because he’s a young, inexperienced coach. Could this spell trouble for the Lakers? . @SHAQ tells the @PatMcAfeeShow he believes the Lakers will have a "rough start" this season pic.twitter.com/PMdVG7qYYr — NBA on ESPN (@ESPNNBA) September 5, 2024 This is a point that has been brought up before. The Lakers want to go all the way to the NBA Finals again and they can only do that if they’re a united crew. Everyone h...

Buccaneers Fan Shows Off Mike Evans Autograph Tattoo

Image
(Photo by Mike Carlson/Getty Images)   Even though they’ve found success multiple times in their history, there’s not a huge list of Tampa Bay Buccaneers legends. Notably, Mike Evans has already made his way into that list. The wide receiver has a strong case for being the best wideout in franchise history. That’s why a fan didn’t hesitate to get his autograph tattooed on his leg (via Tampa Bay Buccaneers). An autograph tattoo from the @MikeEvans13_ made this fan’s long-time dream come true pic.twitter.com/J8Bgh5sM0a — Tampa Bay Buccaneers (@Buccaneers) September 5, 2024 When asked about that, he talked about how Evans is one of the GOATs of the franchise and everything he’s sacrificed to stay there throughout the course of his entire career. There was some speculation regarding Evans’ future with the organization this offseason. Fortunately for everybody involved, it didn’t take long before the franchise did right by their star wide receiver and got him the kind ...

LeBron James Reveals His Super Bowl Prediction

Image
(Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)   Anytime LeBron James gives his opinion on anything, it is going to be news. Recently, the Lakers star gave his prediction for which two teams will meet in Super Bowl LIX. “I got Baltimore coming out of the AFC…I got the Niners going back,” James said via DraftKings Sportsbook. Regarding who would win that matchup, James stated that he just wants to see a great game. Both of these teams were on the doorstep of either making or winning the Super Bowl last year. The Ravens hosted their first AFC Championship Game in franchise history last season but failed to beat the Chiefs. The 49ers for the second time in five years made it to the Super Bowl but lost to the Chiefs yet again. Both t...

White Sox Players Had An Embarrassing Error On Tuesday

Image
(Photo by Mitchell Layton/Getty Images)   The Chicago White Sox continue to dig deeper and deeper in an effort to uncover new levels of futility the sport of baseball has never seen and now sit with a ghastly 31-109 record amidst a 12-game losing streak that has them threatening to set the MLB record for most losses in a season. Tuesday night’s 9-0 loss to the Baltimore Orioles featured an embarrassing error that encapsulated the kind of season it has been for the Southsiders. With the bases loaded and the score 4-0 with two outs in the bottom of the second inning, former White Sox slugger Eloy Jimenez lifted a pop-up to shallow left field as third baseman Miguel Vargas, left fielder Andrew Benintendi, and shortstop Jacob Amaya all converged to make the catch, but Vargas took charge and didn’t concede to Benintendi and ran directly into him causing the ball to drop and all three baserunners to score. “Oh my goodness. The White Sox have just gone full White Sox.” @kevinnbrow...

Lamar Jackson Reveals The Only Thing That ‘Bothers Him’

Image
(Photo by Tasos Katopodis/Getty Images)   Lamar Jackson is, without a of doubt, one of the best players in the National Football League. As such, expectations and demands are quite steep. We’ve seen him beat good teams and put on a show over and over, yet he seems to turn into a completely different player come playoff time. That has led analysts and fans to question whether a player of his style can win a Super Bowl. With the start of the season just around the corner, the reigning MVP admits that bothers him (via Jeff Zrebiec & Bleacher Report). “I haven’t gotten a Super Bowl yet.  That’s the only thing that bothers me,” Jackson said. (Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images)   We’re just days away from the start of the NFL season. As such, the football frenzy has officially taken over the world, and even athletes from other sports are obsessed with the game right now. Notably, that includes NBA legend LeBron James. With that in mind, the guys at DraftKings asked the four-time NBA champion to share his list of the greatest tight ends of all time, and he had quite a few legends. LeBron on his Mt. He also named Shannon Sharpe, one of the first pass-catching tight ends and a three-time Super Bowl champion who pave...
