Davante Adams Makes A Telling Statement About Raiders’ QB Situation

Image
(Photo by Justin Edmonds/Getty Images)   One doesn’t have to be a football savant to know that the Las Vegas Raiders’ quarterback situation is far from ideal. Gardner Minshew is one of the best backups in the game, but he’s a backup at the end of the day. As for Aidan O’Connell, he’s still young and could still turn out to be a great quarterback. But it doesn’t seem like Davante Adams has much faith in either of them. In his recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay, the superstar wide receiver didn’t even let him finish a question when he claimed that he would most definitely welcome Tom Brady back to be his quarterback. . @ShannonSharpe : You would take Tom Brady at 47, 48? @tae15adams : Hell, yes. I don’t care. 58. He’s getting older, but I mean he’s still got to be able to throw it better than half these dudes in the league. Keyshawn Johnson Makes A Prediction About Daniel Jones’ Future

Image
(Photo by Mitchell Leff/Getty Images)   The New York Giants may have jumped the gun to pay Daniel Jones instead of Saquon Barkley. In hindsight, perhaps they would’ve been better off using the franchise tag on Jones and signing Barkley to an extension. Then again, what’s done is done, and there’s no point in looking back. Also, it’s not like they’re stuck with Jones or that they can’t move on from him at some point. As a matter of fact, former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson believes that’s what could happen if he doesn’t show up to play this season. Talking on Undisputed, he addressed the clip of Brian Daboll stating that he would trade up to get Jayden Daniels, which eventually didn’t happen. “If Daniel Jones doesn’t play well, this is probably his last year in New York,” Johnson said. “If Daniel Jones doesn’t play well, this is probably his last year in New York.” — @keyshawn pic.twitter.com/cExw3eZw5t — UNDISPUTED (@undisputed) July 17, 2024 With multiple stop-gap ...

Countless memorials and sincere messages came were released after the announcement of Bryant’s death, including one from Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson. On Twitter, Johnson shared a heartfelt message about Bryant. He wrote: “I’m devastated to hear about the loss of my friend Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, the father of Kobe Bryant. Joe was not only a talented basketball player; he was also a great coach. A lot of people don’t know that he coached the LA Sparks in 2005, 2006, and 2011! Joe was an exceptional human being with a radiant smile that had the power to brighten any room, and a great husband and father. Cookie and I are praying for his wife Pam, daughters Sharia and Shaya, and the rest of the Bryant family, friends, and all those who loved Joe.” I'm devastated to hear about the loss of my friend Joe "Jellybean" Bryan...

(Photo by Steph Chambers/Getty Images)   Star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and the San Francisco 49ers have been the talk of the town this offseason. However, they have not been able to agree on any sort of deal when it comes to contract talks. The 1,000-yard wide receiver is looking to break the bank, but San Francisco may not feel the same way. ESPN insider Adam Schefter recently joined The Pat McAfee Show to give the latest update on the situation out in the Bay Area. “The 49ers have wanted Brandon Aiyuk back and they’ve intended to bring him back, but the wide receiver market has shifted which makes it tough. It’s harder to do a deal now than it was a couple of months ago,” Schefter said. "The 49ers have wanted Brandon Aiyuk back and they've intended to bring him back.. Randy Moss Has Clear Advice For Davante Adams

Image
(Photo by Stacy Revere/Getty Images)   Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams has accomplished a lot in his 10-year career. The six-time Pro-Bowler has been one of the best pass-catchers in the game for the last half-decade. Most of his career came playing with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, who he might not be done playing with. With rumors circulating the air about Adams and Rodgers possibly teaming up one more time in the future, legendary receiver Randy Moss recently shared his thoughts on what Adams should do. “Go back with your quarterback Aaron Rodgers man, they made some great things happen,” Moss said on Up & Adams. Should #Raiders WR Davante Adams go chase a SB ring at this point in his career?? HOF'er @RandyMoss : "I don't see why he shouldn't… Go back with your quarterback Aaron Rodgers man, they made some great things happen." @tae15adams @heykayadams pic.twitter.com/Vn8WKOO4Dg — Up & Adams (@UpAndAdamsShow) July 15,...

Celtics Sign Former Raptors Forward To Training Camp Contract

Image
(Photo by Jim Rogash/Getty Images)   The Boston Celtics will enter the 2024-25 NBA season as the reigning NBA champions after they beat the Dallas Mavericks in the 2024 NBA Finals. It was a dominant performance from Boston who took a 3-0 lead against Dallas and closed things out on the home floor to win the franchise’s 18th NBA title. Jaylen Brown took home Finals MVP honors, while Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White are using the summer to play for Team USA and potentially add more hardware to their trophy collection. The Celtics are considered the early favorites to repeat as champions and for good reason as they’ve got the most talent and balanced roster in the league. Their two-way dominance is the standard for team building and as of now it’s hard to imagine any team challenging them in a seven-game series. While training camp remains a couple of months away, Boston is gearing up as they are reportedly signing Ron Harper Jr. to a deal via Keith Smith of Spotr...

Bronny James Gets Honest About Possibly Playing In G League

Image
(Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images)   After years of speculation, the Los Angeles Lakers made history when they selected Bronny James with the 55th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, pairing him with his father LeBron James. LeBron and Bronny are the first father-son teammates in NBA history, a fitting story for the Lakers who are known to chase after storylines. Bronny’s professional career has gotten off to a bit of a rocky start, though, as he has struggled to score offensively during Summer League. The USC product had his best two-way game against the Houston Rockets to open the Las Vegas Summer League, but he is still leaving some production on the table. Although there will certainly be a moment where LeBron and Bronny share the floor together during the 2024-25 NBA season, the latter is likely to spend most of his time down in the G League with the South Bay Lakers. However, Bronny is happy to go wherever as long as he sees the court via Dan Woike of The Los Angel...
