One doesn’t have to be a football savant to know that the Las Vegas Raiders’ quarterback situation is far from ideal.

Gardner Minshew is one of the best backups in the game, but he’s a backup at the end of the day.

As for Aidan O’Connell, he’s still young and could still turn out to be a great quarterback.

But it doesn’t seem like Davante Adams has much faith in either of them.

In his recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay, the superstar wide receiver didn’t even let him finish a question when he claimed that he would most definitely welcome Tom Brady back to be his quarterback.

Adams claimed that he would take Brady regardless of his age, adding that he would even want him to be his quarterback at 58 years old.

He believes that Brady can still throw the football better than ‘half these dudes’ in the league, adding that he would also love to be the only player to catch passes from him and Aaron Rodgers.

Of course, this isn’t necessarily a shot at his current quarterbacks, as we’re talking about potentially the greatest player of all time.

Then again, that’s also a reflection of the current status of the team.

He would literally welcome someone pushing 50 and who hasn’t played for years over the guys currently expected to throw him the football next season, and that’s by no means an encouraging sign.
