Image
(Photo by Nick Grace/Getty Images)   With the New England Patriots holding their first minicamp workouts Monday morning, all eyes were on the possible appearance of edge-rusher Matthew Judon. After all, the star defender missed multiple organized team functions in recent weeks and was considered questionable for Monday’s session. For the Patriots and new head coach Jerod Mayo, it is obviously essential to have full participation and show that everyone is working toward building the team back to NFL prominence. Now, there is good news for Patriots Nation to start the week. Taylor Kyles reported that Judon appeared this morning at the New England minicamp. The team addressed the impasse last year by moving some of his earnings from the 2024 season to 2023, but that only kicke...

Browns Fan’s Themed Cybertruck Is Going Viral

Image
(Photo by Maddie Meyer/Getty Images)   The AFC North projects to be the most competitive division in the league during the 2024 NFL season, with the Cleveland Browns almost looking like a stealth option to win it. The Baltimore Ravens are the clear-cut best team in the AFC North as they’ve got reigning MVP Lamar Jackson at the helm plus a stacked roster on both sides of the field. Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals will have a healthy Joe Burrow back in the fold and then there’s the Pittsburgh Steelers who are a wild card with new addition Russell Wilson under center. However, Cleveland shouldn’t be overlooked as they had arguably the best defense in the league last season and should see a better offensive showing with Deshaun Watson back healthy after missing the second-half of last year with a shoulder injury. The AFC in general will be a gauntlet, but the Browns showed their resiliency and ability to hang with any team last season. With the 2024 season still months away,...

Rashee Rice Makes A Promise After Off-Field Issues

Image
(Photo by David Eulitt/Getty Images)   The Kansas City Chiefs head into the 2024 NFL season trying to do the unthinkable and that’s winning a third Super Bowl in a row. Kansas City has spent the offseason celebrating their most recent championship, but is turning it’s attention to preparing for next season. The Chiefs boast the best quarterback in the league in Patrick Mahomes and a strong defense that has proven it can get stops when needed. Offensively, Mahomes will have his running mate Travis Kelce back as a well as a stable of wide receivers that look better on paper compared to last year. Marquise “Hollywood” Brown was the biggest addition in free agency after he signed a one-year deal, but the team also traded up in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft to take Xavier Worthy, the speediest wideout in his class. However, the Chiefs will also be hoping for a leap from Rashee Rice who emerged as a go-to option in the passing game during his rookie year. Rice has been ...

Dan Patrick Reveals What Surprised Him About NBA Finals Coverage

Image
(Photo by Adam Glanzman/Getty Images)   The NBA Finals are underway. However, even though the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks should be at the center of the discourse, that’s not the case. As usually happens with the Los Angeles Lakers and with teams featuring LeBron James, most of the NBA talk lately has been centered on them, even though they were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. That’s why Dan Patrick believes ESPN dropped the ball with their coverage of Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Talking on his show, he argued that ESPN should’ve had JJ Redick on one of their shows to ask him about his link to the Lakers. He stated that ESPN shouldn’t allow anyone to “steal” the story from them, as Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news of Dan Hurley being the leading candidate for the Lakers’ coaching job, and not Redick as it had been previously reported. DP was curious why ESPN didn't have JJ Redick on one of their #NBAFinals coverage shows yesterday to ask him about ...

Video Shows NFL Players Revealing Who Should Be On Madden Cover

(Photo by Sebastian Widmann/Getty Images)   With the 2024 NFL season just around the corner, football fans and gamers alike are waiting to get their hands on the new Madden. Every year, developers slightly improve the graphics, update the rosters, and then give us pretty much the same game. It works, so why fix it? Moreover, every single season, there’s a whole campaign about who’s going to be the next cover athlete, and it always leads to a big debate. With that in mind, the league asked some of the rookies who they think should be on the cover, and they had some interesting answers. The next @EAMaddenNFL Cover Athlete will be ________ pic.twitter.com/1kdWNUOFKw — NFL (@NFL) June 8, 2024 For starters, Troy Franklin and Michael Penix Jr. made a case for themselves being the featured athlete. Then, guys like Ja’Marr Chase, CeeDee Lamb, Davante Adams, Trent Williams, and even Jason Kelce got at least one vote. Among non-quarterbacks, Justin Jefferson and Christian M...

Analyst Says 1 Celtics Star Needs To Play Better After Game 1 Win

Image
(Photo by Adam Glanzman/Getty Images)   The Boston Celtics won Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night, beating the Dallas Mavericks, 107-89. That is clearly a big win for the team and brings them one step closer to winning this year’s championship but some people saw troubling signs in their performance. Speaking on “The Carton Show,” Plaxico Burress said that he wants to see a lot more from Jayson Tatum. “If Jaylen Brown is going to be your leading scorer every single night, I don’t think the Boston Celtics can win this series,” Burress said.
