Poole has averaged 23.3 points per game during his three preseason games with the team. You would think everyone on the roster would be happy about that. But a video shared on Twitter showed Poole and teammate Deni Avdija seemingly have some tough words on the bench. Geno Smith wasn’t very sharp in the game, and Zac Taylor’s team managed to escape with a narrow win, and that’s all that matters. However, Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase wanted to stir the pot a little, trolling the Seahawks and rookie CB Devon Witherspoon by commenting “Hold that L” on an Instagram post that showed the rookie flexing on him. The Illinois product didn’t hesitate to clap back at Chase, sharing that very same picture on his Instagram Stories with a “sick” emoji (via Dov Kleiman). D.K. They have managed not only to compete at the highest level, but beat two division champions in the Milwaukee Brewers and the Los Angeles Dodgers during the 2023 postseason. However, if the National League Championship Series has taught us anything after the first two games, it’s that the Philadelphia Phillies appear to be a tier above. It might be a bit odd to reach that conclusion given that only two games have been played, and none of them have been in Arizona. Yet the Phillies look so good, balanced, powerful, and effective in all areas that it becomes evident. Bol signed with the team a couple of months ago and is hoping to get a lot of time on the court in 2023-24. He might not be in every game but he is going to make every moment count just like he did on Monday night.
