Image
(Photo by Ezra Acayan/Getty Images)   Team USA may have failed to win a medal in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, but it helped some NBA players bond for life. The likes of Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, and Jalen Brunson formed close friendships while donning the jersey of Team USA. Hart is notorious for pulling hilarious pranks on his teammates, be it for Team USA or the New York Knicks. Josh Hart gave a glimpse of it by calling out his Team USA teammates Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson for attending a college game between Penn State vs. Iowa via his Twitter official handle. Thanks for the invite triplets @mikal_bridges https://t.co/BtRxDR8TZG — Josh Hart (@joshhart) September 24, 2023 Bridges and Johnson entered the stadium as they were spotted by the camera. Hart evidently missed the opportunity and hilariously reacted on Twitter. Hart was obviously disappointed with no invite to the game and wanted to be a part of it. As for his career, Hart made a name for himself while p...

(Photo by Julio Aguilar/Getty Images)   So far, the New Orleans Saints ‘ offense is finding its way as they have shown flashes through the first two weeks of the 2023 NFL season though they haven’t quite put it all together yet. The Saints are incorporating a new quarterback in Derek Carr who has been building chemistry with his weapons in Chris Olave and Michael Thomas. New Orleans has also been without running back Alvin Kamara who has been serving a three-game suspension. However, the Saints have been able to win games against the Tennessee Titans and Carolina Panthers on the back of their defense. (Photo by Jason Hanna/Getty Images)   The Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals are set to square off in Week 3 on Monday Night Football. It is a rematch of the Super Bowl from two years ago when the Rams won 23-20. The Bengals enter the game at 0-2 and are in desperate need of a win. But that will be difficult if quarterback Joe Burrow is unable to play. He re-aggravated his calf injury and is questionable to play in the game. But Rams’ defensive tackle Aaron Donald is preparing as if Burrow will be out there. According to Pro Football Talk, Donald fully expects to see Burrow on Monday. But the Bengals need to take the long-term view with Burrow. He is their franchise player and cannot risk a larger issue with his calf b...

Jae Crowder Has Strong Response To Insider Saying He Was ‘Banished’

(Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images)   Jae Crowder wants to make one thing very clear: he was not “banished” in Phoenix last season. The forward recently tweeted an impassioned response to that idea. Crowder was responding to a report from Law Murray, via NBACentral, that said the Clippers have no plans of banishing Marcus Morris “similar to how Phoenix handled Jae Crowder last season.” Crowder wasn’t having it. He tweeted: “AYE MAN JAE CROWDER HAS NOTHING TO DO WTIH NOTHING… ESPECIALLY WHEN USING THE WORD BANISHMENT ATTACHED TO MY NAME! LEAVE ME OUT OF IT AND CHECK BALL IN A FEW WEEKS.!” AYE MAN JAE CROWDER HAS NOTHING TO DO WTIH NOTHING… ESPECIALLY WHEN USING THE WORD BANISHMENT ATTACHED TO MY NAME! Analyst Says Knicks Star Is Better Than Ja Morant

Image
(Photo by Seth Wenig – Pool/Getty Images)   Many people have been impressed by the recent transformation of the New York Knicks . The team still has a way to go before they are contending for a Finals win but they are getting much better. A huge part of that evolution has to do with Jalen Brunson, who has easily adapted to the role of team leader in just one season. Speaking to The Volume, NBA analyst Jason Timpf said that Brunson is better than another impressive guard. “Jalen Brunson right now is flat out a better basketball player than Ja Morant,” Timpf said, according to NBACentral. “Jalen Brunson right now is flat out a better basketball player than Ja Morant.” – @_JasonLT (Via @TheVolumeSports ) pic.twitter.com/LZVsO4sGr4 — NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral) September 21, 2023 When you look at the raw numbers, the two players are very similar and neck-and-neck. Angels Insider Calls Out The Struggling Team

Image
(Photo by Tim Heitman/Getty Images)   The Los Angeles Angels have a 68-83 record as of Wednesday afternoon. You would think they have been losing all year long, but that isn’t true. They actually had a positive record when they made all those acquisitions at the deadline in early August. Things haven’t gone their way, though, and they are now eliminated. It’s nothing new: the Angels haven’t made the postseason since 2014. Since 2010, they have just four winning seasons, and ten with a sub-.500 record. Angels insider Sam Blum was talking to fans on Twitter and one of them said that losing, at this point, didn’t matter as much as player development. Blum made his stance very clear. “I disagree. People do care if they win or lose. Maybe right now those results matter less. Maybe a better draft pick has more value. But that doesn’t change the fact that they simply are not winning baseball games, and haven’t for nearly a decade now,” he tweeted. I disagree. People do care...
