It has been a confusing NFL season thus far, with a number of preseason Super Bowl contenders getting off to rocky starts, while a few under-the-radar teams have emerged as legitimate threats.

It’s not easy to make sense of the first six weeks, but FOX Sports analyst Tom Brady recently shared his take on the overall state of the league via his power rankings.

Brady has his former team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, at No. 1, followed by the surprising Indianapolis Colts at No. 2, the Green Bay Packers at No. 3, the Detroit Lions at No. 4, and the Los Angeles Rams at No. 5.

His top 10 was rounded out by the Denver Broncos at No. 6, the Philadelphia Eagles at No. 7, the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 8, the Seattle Seahawks at No. 9, and his other former team, the New England Patriots, at No. 10.

Noticeably absent from the top 10 are the Buffalo Bills, who were looking like the potential Super Bowl winners before losing consecutive games to the Patriots and Atlanta Falcons in the past two weeks.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a bit of a surprise omission as well, but perhaps that’s just Brady sticking it to his former rivals one more time.

Perhaps he is a little biased toward the Bucs and Pats, for obvious reasons, but at least he didn’t take it a step further and put the Las Vegas Raiders up there as their co-owner.
