The New York Knicks have a new head coach, but the same goal as last year: winning a championship.

Mike Brown is surely going to bring changes to the team and the way it works.

When it comes to his approach to offense, Brown has left one of his star players in the dark.

Speaking to the media, Karl-Anthony Towns was brutally honest about his role in the new offense.

“Honestly, I don’t know,” Towns said.

That’s obviously not what Knicks fans want to hear, but they shouldn’t panic yet.

Towns is a talented star, so he doesn’t need a lot of guidance or instructions in order to have a huge impact.

It’s only been one season, but New York fans have faith in Towns and what he can accomplish.

Last year, he posted 24.4 points and 12.8 rebounds for the team and immediately fit into their rotation and locker room.

Fellow stars, such as Jalen Brunson, have commented on everything Towns has brought to the team in a short amount of time.

The Knicks wanted to shake things up when they hired Brown, and they trust his coaching instincts.

They know that he is going to try some different things, but they also wish to see a lot of Towns during 2025-26.

The expectations for this team have never been higher, with many people predicting they will go all the way to the NBA Finals.

If that is going to happen, it’ll be because Towns has another impressive season and Brown has figured out how to use him properly.

The fans are anticipating changes, but only if they come with a lot of victories.
