Insider Drops Interesting Intel About Ace Bailey’s Pre-Draft Workouts

Ace Bailey’s road to the NBA was unorthodox, although he eventually got a spot on the Utah Jazz and could be a special part of their lineup in the new season.

Throughout the draft process, Bailey reportedly refused to work out with multiple teams.

Now, Marc Stein is reporting that he was doing that because he had a singular goal: making his way onto the Washington Wizards.

“It’s been revealed: Ace Bailey refused pre-draft workouts from all interested teams to try to force his way to the Washington Wizards at No. 6,” Stein stated.

When Bailey said he wouldn’t do workouts with most squads, it was because he had his sights set on a specific team.

At the time, no one was sure what it was, but most people didn’t think he had the Wizards in mind.

Apparently, he did, because he viewed Washington as the perfect place to start his NBA career.

Due to their struggles, they are looking for a first option, someone who can lead the team.

They might not be in great condition now, but Bailey believed he could be the start of their next chapter and turn the team into something special.

But he ultimately didn’t have control over his fate, and now he’s with the Jazz.

He says he is happy to be there and will make the most of it, and is already one of the most talked-about rookies in the league.

This may not have been what he had in mind, but Bailey says he is going to devote himself to Utah and give it his all.

With his excellent size, youth, and confidence, Bailey could be a miracle for the Jazz during his rookie year.
