Heat Could Make Big Decision With Veteran Guard
The Miami Heat don’t have much time before training camp begins, and they apparently have a huge decision to make.
New reporting claims that the Heat are thinking about cutting ties with a vetearn guard only weeks before the start of the 2025-26 campaign.
“The Heat are heavily considering parting ways with Terry Rozier ahead of training camp,” Brett Siegel said.

This could be it for Terry Rozier and the Heat, and the 10-year vet’s future is up in the air.
He came to the Heat in the middle of the 2023-24 season after a strong run with the Charlotte Hornets.
Right before heading down to Miami, Rozier was posting 23.2 points and 6.6 assists in Charlotte.
The Heat thought he’d be a huge help for the starting five, but things didn’t work out as planned.
He has produced 12.6 points and 3.3 assists for Miami and has never been the force of nature his team wanted.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see them say goodbye to Rozier, but cutting him so close to the season’s start is a bit shocking.
He may not have been a huge presence in Miami, but the front office would still need to work quickly to fill the void he leaves.
They likely already have a plan and player in mind to replace Rozier.
He is 31 years old and should be able to find another home in the league.
However, with most teams settled upon their lineups, he might not get a new contract for a while.
If the Heat let him go, it may be several weeks or months before we see Rozier back on the court again.
