Marcus Morris Sr. Arrested On Serious Charges
Marcus Morris Sr. took down many opponents during his years in the NBA, but he may have just met his most serious challenge.
According to TMZ and multiple news outlets, Morris was arrested on Sunday on a fraud charge in Florida.
Broward County released a mugshot of Morris, and he doesn’t seem very pleased to be in custody.
Unfortunately for Morris, TMZ says he is being held without bond.

Information about the alleged crime wasn’t released, but some news sources said that he was apprehended in an airport and the charge is related to a bad check and a previous crime.
Morris himself hopped on social media to say that the charges aren’t that serious, but that may not end up being the case.
He entered the league in 2011, and then Morris was all over the NBA.
He got his start with the Houston Rockets before moving on to the Phoenix Suns, Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, and more.
He most recently played with the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers in 2023-24, averaging 5.8 points and 2.1 rebounds for that team.
He hasn’t played a game since then and has made numerous television appearances since his unofficial retirement.
This new charge could complicate all of that, and it may put him in legal jeopardy that compromises any jobs he has.
Sadly, this isn’t Morris’ first run-in with the law.
More than ten years ago, he faced a battery charge and was then found not guilty of assault in 2015.
Will he be able to get past these charges as well?
