Stephen Curry Sends 3-Word Message After Series Win Against Rockets
Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors enjoyed their fifth series win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday, beating the second seed and going to the next round of the NBA playoffs.
Following that victory, Curry spoke with the press, via Oh No He Didn’t and Hoop Central, and was asked about his performances in Houston over the years.
“I’m a winner,” Curry simply said, followed by a sly smile.

Curry was most certainly a winner on Sunday night.
He posted 22 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists as his Warriors took a 103-89 lead over the Rockets.
This was a long series and one that had Warriors fans nervous at every turn.
There were fears they’d give up their series lead and eventually fall to the Rockets, which wouldn’t be too surprising considering Golden State was the seventh seed and Houston was the second.
But in the end, the Warriors’s experience and skill were just too much for Ime Udoka and his young team.
Of course, there is the general consensus that the Rockets will be back, perhaps even stronger next year.
They could be a major force in the West for years to come.
But this year, Curry and his Warriors were able to outplay them.
Curry might not have had a scoring night like those from the past, but he was still very impactful for his team and was strong with his rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.
Like the rest of his squad, he brought intense defense throughout the night, which made a huge difference.
It was another good night in Houston for Curry, and Warriors fans are happily used to him walking away with a victory when playing the Rockets.
