Insider Believes 1 TE Prospect ‘Makes A Lot Of Sense’ For Eagles

It’s hard for Philadelphia Eagles fans to even get too excited about the upcoming NFL Draft, given the high they are still on from dominating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

However, the team’s success in recent drafts is a huge reason why that Super Bowl victory was even possible, and one tight end prospect in the 2025 class “makes a lot of sense” as a future Eagle, according to one insider.

Team insider Eliot Shorr-Parks is a big fan of Bowling Green tight end Harold Fannin and believes he’d be a strong fit for this offense.

“A player I think would make a lot of sense for the Eagles is TE Harold Fannin Jr. from Bowling Green Elite hands, great after the catch and a player I think the coaching staff could get creative with in how they use him”

The more that teams have been diving into film and pre-draft evaluations, the more love Fannin has gotten after his spectacular junior season at Bowling Green.

The 6’3″, 241-pound tight end caught a ridiculous 117 passes for 1,555 yards and 10 touchdowns with the Falcons last season, and he also tested well at the NFL Combine with a 4.71 40-yard dash and 22 reps on the bench press.

He made first-team AP All-American this past season and became the first tight end in FBS history to win Conference Player of the Year, as he took home both Conference POY and Offensive Player of the Year in the MAC.

He is currently projected as a Day Three pick, but his stock is rising, and he could sneak into the second round, which is right where the Eagles could be looking to take him to pair him with Dallas Goedert.

An offense like the Eagles always looks to deploy multiple talented tight ends, and Fannin would add a whole new element on that side of the ball for the defending champs.
