Not so long ago, Dez Bryant was one of the best wideouts in the NFL.

His route-running skills and steady hands made him a perennial downfield threat, even though he was somewhat underrated at the time.

It’s been years since he last played football at the pro level.

However, as shown in a clip shared by Dov Kleiman on X, it’s clear that he’s still got something left in the tank.

The former Dallas Cowboys star left a defender in the dust with his quick moves and route-running abilities.

He’s just 36 years old and hasn’t officially retired.

Then again, it’s not like we should take this video seriously.

He’s clearly not going against NFL-caliber competition, and it’s one thing to route runs and do drills, but a whole different thing is to play in the pros.

Talent-wise, there’s absolutely no doubt that Bryant could still play, but it takes much more than just talent to be in the league.

He sustained a career-altering injury when he was trying to make a comeback, so it’s hard to believe any team will want to give him another shot at this point in his career.

Bryant has been quite active on social media since he hasn’t been in the league, and he clearly made more than enough money to get by when he played in the league.

It’s tough to watch some great players not being able to walk away on their own terms, but this is a cruel business, and it doesn’t stop to wait for anybody.
