Odds Show The Betting Favorite For Sam Darnold’s Next Team

The Minnesota Vikings had a big problem on their hands.

Now, that problem seems to be easier to solve.

Sam Darnold didn’t do himself any favors with how he played in their season’s biggest games.

As such, they might feel inclined to thank him for his services, let him walk in free agency, and go with their rookie, J.J. McCarthy, next season.

With that in mind, Jaime Eisner revealed the top three teams with the highest odds to sign him: Pittsburgh Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders, and New Orleans Saints.

Those teams obviously need a quarterback, so it’s not much of a surprise.

The Steelers have to decide between Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.

Neither seems to be a long-term solution for them, and they will both demand a much bigger salary than the one they cashed in on this season.

The Raiders will reportedly be in the mix to try and get Shedeur Sanders in the NFL Draft.

But if that’s not the case, they can’t afford to enter next season with Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew.

As for the Saints, it seems like the Derek Carr experiment hasn’t worked out.

Spencer Rattler might not have what it takes to be an NFL quarterback, so it makes sense that they go after the best option in free agency.

Lakers Given Notable Odds To Make NBA Finals
