Gilbert Arenas Says LaMelo Ball Is The Best Guard In The NBA

Through 18 games, the Charlotte Hornets are just 6-12.

However, LaMelo Ball is playing exceptionally well and deserves to be an All-Star starter.

In fact, Brandon Jennings and Gilbert Arenas believe he’s the best point guard in the NBA.

In the latest edition of “Gil’s Arena,” Arenas talked about Ball being a hybrid player.

He explained that he has the tools you want from a point guard in the sense that he can put up really big numbers, but he’s still a pass-first kind of guy.

Arenas stated that if Ball had a better supporting cast, he would be able to make plays for others.

Since that’s not the case, he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands and score.

That makes sense, and Ball might be the most exciting player to watch in the league right now, or at least one of them.

On the one hand, it speaks volumes about his incredible talent and skills.

On the other hand, he also has to wonder what he can do to improve his game and his team.

If he keeps this up and the Hornets don’t improve their roster, he might not be in Charlotte for much longer.
