Matt Barnes Has A Strong Belief About JJ Redick As A Head Coach

After a 3-1 start, Los Angeles Lakers fans are very happy with what they have seen from new head coach JJ Redick.

They weren’t sure if he would work well as the coach because he has no experience in that sort of position but Redick seems to have unlocked something special in this team.

Speaking to All the Smoke Productions, Matt Barnes talked about his former teammate and friend and addressed why Redick is such a good fit for the Lakers.

“JJ moves around with an arrogance and a confidence because he does the work,” Barnes said, saying he has a “beautiful mind” when it comes to basketball and is doing the right things on behalf of LA’s biggest stars.

Some people might find Redick too arrogant when he talks about the game but Barnes said he is a true professional who lives and breathes basketball and understands it inside and out.

He approaches the game with a sort of care and determination that might rub some people the wrong way but always delivers results.

Redick has been coming up with brilliant game plans for the Lakers, especially for Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

It’s only been four games but Davis is having one of his best seasons ever and James has had more time to rest and not take on such a responsibility with the team.

Redick has drawn the most out of other players too, including Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura.

The team has gotten off to a hot start but fans are nervous that things could get very rough soon.

They now experienced their first loss and will spend some time on the road against tough opponents.

This will be the time for Redick to really prove what he’s capable of, and earn even more confidence in his abilities.
