DeMarcus Cousins Names His Top-5 Centers In The NBA
The NBA has changed a lot over the years but one thing has remained consistent: big men always do well in the league.
Right now there are many great centers in the NBA, but who is the best of the best?
Former NBA star DeMarcus Cousins shared his opinion with “Run It Back” about the league’s greatest centers, via NBACentral.
According to him Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs is the fifth-best center, followed by Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers and Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat.
The second-best center is Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, according to Cousins, and Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers is the best.

This is a list that most people will agree with.
Each of these players has done terrific things for their teams and many of them have already accomplished so much.
Wembanyama, for example, just won Rookie of the Year and many people predict he could claim Defensive Player of the Year in 2024-25.
Meanwhile, Davis has won a championship with his Lakers and Adebayo has become perhaps the most reliable player for Miami.
Jokic’s dominance is unquestionable and he is coming off another MVP year.
As for Embiid, he is also an MVP but injuries have consistently gotten in his way.
If he can remain healthy in the new season, he could easily prove why he sits at the top of Cousin’s list.
All of these big men already have careers they should be proud of but which one will find the most success – and the fewest injuries – in the upcoming season?
