Ben Simmons Has A Message For His Doubters
There are many people who doubt the abilities of Ben Simmons of the Brooklyn Nets.
The former No. 1 draft pick has had a rough few years.
It’s gotten so bad that even his most devoted fans are losing faith.
But he wants everyone to know what he’s capable of and is reminding people of his potential.
Speaking with the press, via ClutchPoints, the Nets star said, “I think people forget, me as a player when I’m healthy, I can play basketball. I’m pretty good, right?”
The question now is if Simmons can remain healthy and prove how good he is.

It’s been a while before Simmons played a lot during an NBA season.
He came to the Nets two seasons ago but has only played in 57 games for the team so far.
Last season, he averaged just 6.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 5.7 assists.
That’s a far cry from what he did back in 2017-18 when he was named Rookie of the Year.
Back then, he put up 15.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8.2 assists.
A lot has changed since then, with multiple injuries and a major dispute with the Philadelphia 76ers that ultimately sent him to Brooklyn.
Over the years, some people have claimed that Simmons has lost his passion for the game and doesn’t seem confident in himself or his skills anymore.
Can he prove otherwise in 2024-25?
There was a time when he was one of the most promising young stars in the league and now he seems like someone who is battling with his body and his mind to get back in good shape.
The upcoming season might be his last chance at redemption.
