Brock Purdy has already done more in his NFL career than most quarterbacks ever.

He wasn’t even supposed to be there after being the last pick of his draft, yet he’s already been to one Super Bowl, and he was pretty close to winning it.

Even so, and despite all the winning he’s done since taking the reins of the offense, people continue to sleep on him.

That’s why former NFL star Emmanuel Sanders believes PFF ranked him way too low in their position rankings ahead of the season.

Talking to Kay Adams for her “Up & Adams” show, Sanders claimed that he should be ranked higher than 13th, adding that he just doesn’t get why people still look past him.

PFF ranked Trevor Lawrence and Jordan Love ahead of him, which some deemed controversial.

Purdy might not be the biggest, flashiest, or most athletic or exciting quarterback in the game, but he definitely takes care of business.

System quarterback or not, winning is all that matters, and he wins.

Also, he orchestrated some big comebacks in the playoffs, and they wouldn’t have reached the Super Bowl if it wasn’t for him.

Granted, the Niners are a juggernaut, but they also were one when Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance were there, and Purdy beat both of them for the job for a reason.

Purdy has reached at least the NFC Championship Game twice in as many seasons, and it’s about time people start giving him the respect he’s clearly earned in his brief career.
