The Houston Texans aren’t messing around.

They were one of the biggest winners of the NFL offseason, surrounding C.J. Stroud with more talent to make sure his job gets easier as he enters the second season of his promising career.

However, they also know that it takes more than just stacking up talent to find success.

That’s why they’re digging deep into other issues and why they’ve listened to the players and want to do right by them and their needs.

According to GM Nick Caserio, the team is improving their facilities at NRG Stadium, including the weight room.

Per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2, Caserio praised the McNair family for this investment.

The new era in Houston started off on the right foot.

DeMeco Ryans didn’t need much time to establish a winning culture within the locker room and the organization, and they look like a team that’s going to be very good for a long time.

Of course, finding two generational talents like Stroud and Will Anderson Jr. in the same draft class helped a lot, but it’s not just about getting the talent but also about making sure they have what they need to develop.

The Texans went from having the No. 2 pick to reaching the AFC Divisional Round in just one year.

And while these changes might seem little, especially for an NFL team, they’re small building blocks that boost morale, and that often takes teams a long way.
