Spurs’ Staff Reportedly Has A Strict Order With Victor Wembanyama

During his first year in the NBA, Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs has made quite an impact.

His team might still be in bad shape but he is proving himself to be the sort of rookie who could someday be an NBA legend.

Wembanyama is clearly very dedicated to being his best and a new piece of information from Mike Monroe confirms that.

According to Legion Hoops, Monroe found out that staff members of the Spurs have been advised to never call Wembanyama after 9:30 p.m.

Apparently, Wembanyama uses that time to read for an hour and then fall asleep.

Wembanyama is obviously doing his best to keep his mind and body in great shape for the long season.

Unlike some NBA rookies of the past, Wembanyama hasn’t been spotted out and about at clubs or making many public appearances.

Instead, he is solely focused on practicing, playing, and taking care of himself.

So far, it’s worked out and Wembanyama is undoubtedly in the running for Rookie of the Year.

He is averaging 19.9 points and 10.1 rebounds a year and is already leading the league in blocks, with 3.2 per game.

He has done this all without missing many games either, only sitting out of five games so far this year.

The Spurs are not close to being playoff contenders yet but there is no denying Wembanyama’s greatness.

He is already one of the best defensive players in the league and his offensive powers are growing by the day.

All of this is leading people to wonder just how wonderful he’ll be within a couple of seasons.

Wembanyama is doing everything within his power to stay healthy and competitive, including giving his body and mind the rest that it needs.
