The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to repeat as Super Bowl Champions.

While repeating is never an easy feat, they do have the players in place to get it done.

The Chiefs will forever go as Patrick Mahomes goes.

He is the best quarterback in the NFL and as long as he is on the field they have a chance.

Unfortunately, one of Mahomes’ top wide receivers suffered an injury in practice.

According to Ari Meirov, Kadarius Toney “tweaked” his knee during a special team drill.

This is not the news the Chiefs were hoping for to start training camp.

Toney was traded to the Chiefs last season after not having much of an impact on the New York Giants.

He is a former first-round pick that has all the talent in the world.

But staying on the field has been an issue for him to start his career.

Luckily, this injury does not seem to be too serious.

Even if Toney missed a few training camp practices he should be back soon.

Toney only played seven regular season games with the Chiefs last season.

He caught 14 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns in those games.

But his impact was felt in the Super Bowl when he caught a touchdown and had a huge punt return.

Toney is the type of player that just needs the ball to make things happen.

He should be in for a much bigger role in Kansas City in year two.
