The San Antonio Spurs are entering a new era after selecting Victor Wembanyama as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

The Frenchman carries huge expectations coming into the league, and the franchise is making sure to give him the right guidance.

As soon as he landed in San Antonio, Wembanyama was given a warm welcome by fans.

He recently had dinner with three Spurs legends, Tim Duncan, David Robinson, and Manu Ginobili.

Following the big night, the Frenchman shared an epic pic with the three legends and Sean Elliott, who also was in attendance.

Upon his arrival to San Antonio, Wembanyama explained how impactful the Spurs have been not only for him but many French players.

He was in awe after spending a couple of hours with these legends, even claiming he learned more in two hours about the NBA than during his 19 years in life.

Wembanyama is expected to have a legendary NBA career and he landed in the right place to do so.

He had a terrific season in the LNB Pro A, where he averaged 21.5 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 2.4 assists in 32.1 minutes.

Wembanyama is set to partake in the upcoming Las Vegas Summer League to give fans a taste of what’s coming to the NBA.
