Stats Show How Brook Lopez Made NBA History Last Season

The Milwaukee Bucks didn’t have the postseason they wanted but they definitely had a regular season to be proud of.

They ended the year with a 58-24 record, which was the best for the entire league.

Milwaukee clearly had one impressive year and a huge part of their success was the hard work of big man Brook Lopez.

For the season, Lopez averaged 15.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks a game.

That led to him being part of the First Team All-Defense.

According to StatMuse, it also makes him the first player in league history to record 125+ blocks and 125+ three-pointers in multiple seasons.

Lopez’s 2022-23 was a huge bounce-back season for the star.

In 2021-22, Lopez only played in 13 games until injury sidelined him for the rest of the year.

He came back with serious drive last season and did amazing things for his team.

Therefore, it’s no surprise to hear that multiple teams are interested in signing Lopez this weekend when free agency begins.

There are numerous teams allegedly keen on grabbing Lopez, from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Houston Rockets.

No matter where he goes, Lopez has shown he can be a hugely impactful player in multiple ways.

If he does leave the Bucks, Milwaukee will have a massive void to fill at a very peculiar and tricky time for the team.

Not only does Lopez add a lot on the court, but he also contributes to the team culture with his experience and friendly personality.

The Bucks would surely miss Lopez if he moves to another team.
