Another Yankees Veteran Is Headed To The Injured List
It seems like when the New York Yankees recover a player from the injured list, two more get hurt.
It has been that way the entire season, unfortunately, for them.
The team, which already has superstar Aaron Judge on the shelf, has lost another outfielder to injury.
“Willie Calhoun (quadriceps) expects to go on the IL. Said he had a similar injury a few years back, needed a PRP injection and missed 3-4 weeks,” Yankees insider Bryan Hoch tweeted.

Calhoun started off slowly, but has turned things around in recent weeks and has blossomed into a viable part-time player for the injury-riddled Yanks.
For the season, he is hitting .239 with 16 runs, five home runs, 16 RBI, and a .712 OPS.
The former top prospect, now 28 years old, will be undergoing an MRI on Thursday after suffering a left quad injury during Wednesday’s game against the Seattle Mariners.
Before even knowing the precise diagnosis (it will likely come after the MRI results are available), the player himself knows the nature of the injury by having had a similar one a few years ago, per Hoch.
He knows he is headed for a multi-week absence, which really complicates things for the Yankees from a depth perspective.
They have been relying on Billy McKinney, Jake Bauers, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, and similar alternatives in recent weeks..
At least they recently got Harrison Bader, their starting center fielder, back.
The team is 41-33, still in third place of the tough AL East, and they need to get healthier in order to achieve their objectives.
