Former Player Makes A Bold Claim About Draymond Green

Image
(Photo by Ezra Shaw/Getty Images)   The Golden State Warriors took down the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night even though they lost Steph Curry to injury after 25 minutes. One of the reasons why the Warriors pulled off a 117-114 win was because of Draymond Green, who was surprisingly robust with points, scoring 21 points along with his seven rebounds, and five assists. Speaking on “Run It Back,” per NBACentral, Chandler Parsons said that the Warriors typically don’t need Green to score like that, and he is helpful for plenty of other reasons. However, Parsons said that if Green had played for a team like the Charlotte Hornets or Washington Wizards early in his career, he could have averaged about 20 or 22 points per game. https://twitter.com/TheDunkCentral/status/1903106616523710899 Green’s season average right now is 9.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.7 assists, which is very different from the 21 points he put up on Thursday. Green doesn’t often score that much, and he doe...

(Photo by Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images)   The Los Angeles Lakers’ grueling schedule will continue on Thursday night, but they will be without a very pivotal player. As reported by Dave McMenamin, per Legion Hoops, Luka Doncic will not play in the game against the Bucks as he continues to nurse an ankle injury. This has been a tough stretch of games for the Lakers, and while they would love to see Doncic on the court, his absence isn’t that surprising. Even with his injured ankle, Doncic put up 31 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in the 120-108 victory. The Lakers have played six games in eight days, partly due to making up time they lost during the Los Angeles wildfires. They have had to p...

(Photo by Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)   The Los Angeles Clippers have come to life and have now won four games in a row. They are the seventh seed in the West and have defeated some tough opponents lately. But even though they are playing well, Stephen A. Smith told “First Take” that he still doesn’t believe in them for one very important reason: the health of Kawhi Leonard. “The reason I’m not sold on the Clippers is because … I’m just waiting for Kawhi Leonard to get hurt. I know that come playoff time, he’s not going to be available,” Smith said. "The reason I'm not sold on the Clippers is because … I'm just waiting for Kawhi Leonard to get hurt. (Photo by Katelyn Mulcahy/Getty Images)   Following Wednesday night’s win over the Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Lakers are the third seed in the Western Conference. If they keep playing well, they have a shot at claiming the second seed before the start of the playoffs next month. Speaking on “First Take,” Jay Williams urged the Lakers to get that second seed and avoid two teams: the Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets. “I am avoiding OKC at all costs until we get to the Western Conference finals. … I’m trying to avoid [Denver] too,” Williams said. He said that he would do whatever is necessary to stay away from those two teams until they are unavoidable, and he’s not the only one thinking that way. Bronny James Speaks Out About His Critics

Image
(Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)   The Los Angeles Lakers easily handled the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night, which meant Bronny James got some time on the floor. James has spent most of his time this season in the G-League, but when he does play with the Lakers, it’s typically when his team is far ahead or behind their opponents. A lot of people have talked about his style, skills, and game, and James has heard it all. According to James, the onslaught of comments doesn’t feel good, but he is using that as “fuel.” “I see everything that people are saying, and people think, like, I’m a f—–g robot, like I don’t have any feelings or emotions. But, I just take that and use it as fuel,” James said, per Courtside Buzz.
