Colin Cowherd Believes 1 NFL Team Got A Break On Their Schedule

Image
(Photo by Quinn Harris/Getty Images)   The Chicago Bears, based off of what they have done this offseason, could be a rising team. They drafted Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, along with All-American wide receiver Rome Odunze. The team also traded for six-time Pro Bowler Keenan Allen and signed 1,000-yard rusher D’Andre Swift. Looking at the roster and after the recent schedule release, some, such as FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd, think the Bears could be a team on the come-up. “Chicago has never had really a truly star quarterback, and there is a belief they finally have one…You get no elite defenses early, Tennessee to open, no really heavy microscope games of note…This reminds me a lot of Houston last year,” Cowherd said. Favorable schedule for Chicago? "This reminds me a lot of Houston last year… I thought the Bears got a little bit of a break." — @ColinCowherd pic.twitter.com/l1VtCL4hBU — Herd w/Colin Cowherd (@...

Colin Cowherd Says 1 NFL Team Has The ‘Toughest Schedule He’s Ever Seen’

Image
(Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)   The Pittsburgh Steelers might be in some real trouble heading into 2024. It’s not because of their roster or their head coach. The front office has brought some more ammunition to Pittsburgh this offseason in the form of future Hall-of-Famer Russell Wilson, All-Pro linebacker Patrick Queen, and other important skill players. However, their new schedule, which was just released, is one of the toughest in the entire league. At least, that’s what Colin Cowherd believes. “That is the toughest schedule I have ever seen, Thanksgiving-on, in league history,” Cowherd recently proclaimed on “The Herd.” "That is the toughest schedule I have ever seen, Thanksgiving on, in league history." — @ColinCowherd sends a warning to the Pittsburgh Steelers pic.twitter.com/X7NYbAm2A5 — Herd w/Colin Cowherd (@TheHerd) May 16, 2024 From Week 11 until Week 18, the Steelers will have by far the most brutal stretch of any team in the league th...

NBA Free Agent Says He Is Open To Playing For Lakers

Image
(Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images)   Along with searching for a new head coach to replace the recently fired Darvin Ham, the Los Angeles Lakers will be busy this summer trying to find a third star to play alongside superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis. It seems as though the franchise is determined to bring in another star player in order to convince James to stay a little while longer, as he will almost certainly opt out of his contract with the team next month to either test NBA free agency or re-sign with the team on a lucrative long-term deal. All signs seem to point to the Lakers making a blockbuster trade over the summer to land a player like Trae Young or Donovan Mitchell, but the team could also look to free agency to fill the void with some intriguing options. One of those options is veteran guard DeMar DeRozan, who will enter free agency in July, and even though he seems content re-signing with the Chicago Bulls, he doesn’t rule out returning home to p...

Puka Nacua Reveals His Honest Thoughts About Breaking Rookie Receiving Record

(Photo by Steph Chambers/Getty Images)   Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua had the greatest rookie receiving season in NFL history last year. He set the record for most receptions (105), receiving yards (1,486), and receptions by a rookie in a game (15). The NFL’s social media team just released a video of Nacua witnessing himself break history by setting the mark for most receptions by a rookie. “There was a moment I was able to share with my mom…To say that I was able to break a 63-year-old NFL record was something my dad wasn’t there physically to witness but I could feel him with me,” Nacua said. . @AsapPuka was feeling all the emotions after breaking the rookie receiving record. Edwin Diaz Continued His Rough Stretch Monday Night

Image
(Photo by Rich Schultz/Getty Images)   New York Mets closer Edwin Diaz missed all of last season after suffering a patellar tendon injury in the World Baseball Classic last year, so it has been great to see him back on the mound so far and looking mostly like his old self. With that much time off, it’s natural that there’s some rust he has to knock off, and his rough stretch lately has been tough to watch as he continues to work to get back to the old Edwin Diaz. Diaz blew his second save in his last three opportunities last night after allowing a leadoff home run to Bryson Stott and walking two batters before bringing in the game-tying run on a hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded. Edwin Díaz just blew his second save in his last three opportunities. A missed call on a Whit Merrifield check-swing did not help, but Díaz also allowed a leadoff homer and has been erratic with his control. Stephen A. Smith Reveals Troubling Report About Kevin Durant

Image
(Photo by Maddie Meyer/Getty Images)   The Phoenix Suns have a new coach, but they have to fix way more than that. Frank Vogel never made the most of their offensive talent, and that’s never been his profile. Nonetheless, he wasn’t the main problem in Phoenix; it was the roster. With that in mind, Stephen A. Smith believes they would be better off moving Kevin Durant. As good a coach as Mike Budenholzer is, the Suns’ roster is poorly constructed, and it seems like Durant hasn’t been happy there for quite a while now. Talking on “First Take,” Smith reported that there had been rumblings about Durant’s discontent for months, but they only got bigger as the season ended (via NBACentral). Stephen A. Smith says Kevin Durant is unhappy in Phoenix pic.twitter.com/6FDvmOCwEL — NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral) May 13, 2024 Per Smith, Durant went more than a month without even talking to Vogel, and he’s been self-centered and “in his own world” in the locker room. While he’s no...

Video Shows Patrick Mahomes In Awe Of NBA Superstar

(Photo by Carmen Mandato/Getty Images)   After beating the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs, the Dallas Mavericks advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals to face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Mavericks’ dynamic duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving has led the way, while role players like P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford have given them a boost on both ends of the floor. After losing Game 1 on the road in Oklahoma City, Dallas stormed back to win Game 2 which set up an epic Game 3 between the two teams. The Thunder looked like they were going to steal back home court, but the Mavericks fought in the second half to hold on and take a 2-1 series lead. With Doncic clearly hobbled by injuries, Irving took over in the clutch to deliver the Game 3 win to Dallas. Irving’s a showman on the court and he had Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes in awe via MFFL. “C ourt poet Pat Mahomes approved.” Court poet Pat Mahomes ...
