Adam Schefter Breaks Down Rams’ Dominance

Image
(Photo by Jeff Schear/Getty Images for Cantor Fitzgerald)   The Los Angeles Rams might be the best team in football right now. They entered the season as a dark horse to come out of the NFC, but they’ve been much better than anticipated. Sean McVay has proven again to be one of the best head coaches in the game, and Matthew Stafford is playing the best football of his career. Add a top-notch defense to the mix, and you have a formula for success. In fact, as shown by ESPN insider Adam Schefter on X, what they’re doing is second to none in this league: “Signs of the Rams’ dominance: Rams have won six straight games and in their past five games, they have outscored their opponents 63-3 in the first quarter. Against the Jaguars, 49ers and Buccaneers, they have held leads of 21-0. The Rams haven’t trailed since the first quarter of Week 6, when Baltimore led Los Angeles 3-0,” Schefter posted on X. Johnny Manziel Gushes About NFC Coach

Image
(Photo by Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)   Kevin O’Connell first connected with Johnny Manziel in 2014 as a private quarterback coach, preparing the Heisman Trophy winner for the NFL Draft while building a relationship that would shape both their careers. When the Cleveland Browns hired O’Connell as their quarterbacks coach in February 2015, the franchise was directly influenced by his prior work with Manziel and their established trust. During a recent appearance on Glory Daze Podcast, Manziel opened up about what O’Connell means to him, looking back at those formative pre-draft days when their partnership began. The appreciation in his voice made clear how much that early mentorship still resonates with him today. “Kevin O’Connell was with me pre-draft. He did my board work and film room work because he’s preparing me for the NFL. The Texans had the 1st pick that year. He had been with Bill O’Brien, so he was very much sitting down with me trying to teach me Bill’s offense to...

Lou Anarumo Gets Honest About Potential HC Job

Image
(Photo by Patrick Smith/Getty Images)   Defensive coordinators who oversee dominant units often find themselves in the conversation for head coaching vacancies. Lou Anarumo, the Indianapolis Colts ‘ defensive coordinator, has become exactly that kind of candidate following his group’s impressive performance this season. Ahead of the Colts’ matchup against the Houston Texans, Anarumo addressed the speculation directly and spoke candidly about his future. “I’d be lying to you if I said that down the road that wasn’t something that would be a career goal, but my full attention is on the Houston Texans,” Anarumo said . “And they better be, because they’re a really good football team. While I appreciate all that stuff, my main — and sole — focus is on the Texans this week.” The head coaching interest surrounding Anarumo carries legitimate weight. He has transformed a competitive defense into one that excels at the most critical metric: keeping opponents off the scoreboard. Head...

Dan Orlovsky Names 2 ‘Very Attractive’ NFL Head Coach Jobs

Image
(Photo by Ethan Miller/Getty Images)   There is a long-standing concept that the NFL stands for “Not For Long,” which is often the case for head coaches. All it takes is one bad season to put many coaches on the hot seat, which is why it’s common to see upwards of six or seven openings every offseason. Of course, some destinations are more attractive than others, and some teams are too far gone to attract the top candidates. Of next season’s openings, there are already two teams that ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky believes are “very attractive” head coaching jobs. The main thing that can make a head coaching job attractive is the presence of an exciting quarterback. Coincidentally, two teams that have already fired their coaches happen to have a pair of rookie first-round QBs who look quite promising. “The Titans and Giants will be very attractive jobs bc of the way the young QBs have looked,” Orlovsky posted on X. Louis Riddick Reveals What Cowboys Should Do With George Pickens

Image
(Photo by Cindy Ord/Getty Images for SiriusXM)   The Dallas Cowboys are firmly back in the mix as an NFC playoff contender after pulling off a thrilling comeback victory over the Philadelphia Eagles last week and overcoming a 21-0 deficit. It was the second consecutive win for the Cowboys after demolishing the Las Vegas Raiders the prior week, and at 5-5-1, Dallas is still alive heading into a tough matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving, who are in a similar boat in the AFC. A big reason why the Cowboys are still alive and were able to win the last two games has been the outstanding performance of wide receiver George Pickens. Dallas’ new star receiver caught nine passes in each of the last two games for 144 and 146 yards, respectively, with a touchdown in each game as well. ESPN’s Louis Riddick touched on the topic of Pickens’ upcoming free agency on Wednesday’s episode of Get Up. Riddick noted how important it is for Dallas to hang on to its new star and explo...

Underrated Packers Defender Quietly Delivering Lockdown Production

Image
(Photo by Michael Reaves/Getty Images)   The Green Bay Packers ‘ front seven drew plenty of hype before the start of the season. Adding Micah Parsons to the mix was a scary sight for the rest of the league, and so far, he’s done a great job of showing why. The secondary, however, was a bit of a concern. Nate Hobbs has been on the wrong end of some big plays this season, and he was starting to become a major issue for Jeff Hafley’s unit. Fortunately for this team, they may have found a true CB1. As pointed out by Zach Kruse on X, Carrington Valentine has been an absolute menace recently: “87 coverage snaps, 10 targets, 2 receptions allowed, 15 yards allowed,” he wrote. #Packers CB Carrington Valentine in coverage over the last 3 games: 87 coverage snaps, 10 targets, 2 receptions allowed, 15 yards allowed. — Zach Kruse (@zachkruse2) November 24, 2025 Those are some elite numbers. Standout Packers RB Gets Nominated For Notable NFL Award

Image
(Photo by John Fisher/Getty Images)   The Green Bay Packers needed all hands on deck on Sunday. With Josh Jacobs out with a knee injury, someone would have to step up to lead the way against the Minnesota Vikings. Fortunately for them, backup RB Emanuel Wilson was more than up to the task. That’s why, after his strong performance, it’s not much of a surprise to see him being nominated for the FedEx Air and Ground Player of the Week: “Packers RB Emanuel Wilson (125 total yards, 2 TDs) is a nominee for the FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week award in Week 12,” Kruse posted on X. #Packers RB Emanuel Wilson (125 total yards, 2 TDs) is a nominee for the FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week award in Week 12. — Zach Kruse (@zachkruse2) November 24, 2025 Wilson was shifty and explosive out of the backfield. He forced missed tackles left and right, and he was a factor with his pass blocking and reliable hands in the passing game as well. It was a much-welcome per...
